About College : Teaching and Learning got a far deeper meaning when the Sinhgad Institutes were set up in August 1993.Honorable Prof. M. N. Navale, a great visionary and dynamic leader, laid the foundation of a Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). The Society is rightly imparting high standard of education at different institutes in the field of Engineering, Medical, Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, Computer Application, Education, Arts, Science, and Commerce and has acquired fame in a very short span.Holistic development of students and teachers is what we believe in and work for. We strive to achieve this by imbibing a unique value system, transparent work culture, excellent academic and physical environment conducive to learning, creativity & technology transfer. Our mandate is to generate, preserve and share knowledge for developing a vibrant Society.
OBJECTIVES
To build a personality with technical and non-technical skills, which are globally at par.
To implement effective teaching-learning process (T-L-P) so as to achieve excellent academic performance in the university examination.
To provide the opportunity to the students to participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for their overall development.
To upgrade the staff qualification.
To make the students employable by introducing various skill development programs like Student Training Programs (STPs) and Value Addition Programs (VAPs).
To create top notch entrepreneurs, through Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC).
To make the students competitve with practical oriented problem solving techniques through Project Based Learning (PBL) & Lab Innovations (LI).
To introduce various Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) like Train the Trainer (TTT), Teacher Advancement Programme ( TAP), etc.
To inculcate the research culture among students and faculties.
