About College : Nritya Prerana International School of Bharatnatyam was started in the year 1984 by Mrs. Suchitra Date in Pune with the blessings of her Guru Krishna A. Mani-student of Ponnaiah and Kittappa Pillai of Thanjavoor quartet. Nritya Prerana believes in preserving and propagating this art form as handed down by their Gurus. This is achieved through regular teaching classes, performances in and outside India, lecture-demos, workshops and hosting
Nritya Sabhas. Every student of the institute is encouraged to perform whenever the opportunity arises, as dance is a performing art.

| Short courses | Introduction to Bharatanatyam – 1 month for adults Introduction to Bharatanatyam on Skype – 3 months course (36 hrs. practical and theory) |
| Residential course | 3 month and 1 year course for out station and foreign students. |
| Other special courses | 1 month training course on Choreography. |
| For film and TV artists – specially modulated courses designed as per the requirement. |
